MAURICE LLOYD

OCTOBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

In the first five games of the season Maurice rushed for over 700 yards & 8 touchdowns. On defense he recorded 3 interceptions in a game & on special teams he returned a punt & 2 kickoffs for touchdowns all while maintaining a 3.6 GPA!

KENYON MCTEAR

NOVEMBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Kenyon recorded more interceptions (9) than any player in Oakland this season. On offense he rushed for over 800 yards & had 450 yards receiving. He scored a total of 18 touchdowns including a 61-yard punt & two kickoff returns!

EMOREEA FOUNTAIN

2016 FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Emoreea led the Warriors to the first football state championship in school, league & Oakland history. The All-OAL 1st Team quarterback, and honor roll student, led the Town in passing touchdowns (34) & scored more total touchdowns (41) than any player in Oakland. Emoreea dedicated the season to his mother who passed away in June.

MYAH PACE

2017 GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Myah was voted league MVP for a second consecutive year and was selected to the All-East Bay and All-Metro 1st teams. The University of San Diego bound star was also named the San Francisco Chronicle’s East Bay Player of the Year!

SOULEY BOUM

2017 BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Souley was voted league MVP for a third consecutive year. The USF bound star averaged 20 points a game, won the Oakland City Championship and ended the season as an All-East Bay 3rd team & All-Metro 2nd team selection!

FRANKIE HAMMOUDE

MAY 2017 ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Frankie hit over .500 in 2017 and led the league in homeruns (11), RBIs (41), slugging percentage (1.107) and runs scored (36). She was a unanimous All-WACC 1st Team selection and was voted league Co-Player of the Year!

JACOB PATTERSON-KOHOUT

2017 BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Jacob led all Oakland starting pitchers in ERA (1.66) and strikeouts (69). At the plate he also led the Jayhaawks in batting average (.382), homeruns (3), and RBIs (22).
