OCTOBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Naseme broke the school rushing record when he rushed for 375 yards & 4 touchdowns in one game. He scored 11 total touchdowns and rushed for 665 yards in the first four games of the season!

NOVEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH

The All-Bay Area 1st Team running back rushed for 1,549 yards & 23 touchdowns leading the Dragons to back-to-back league titles.

CHARLES ALBERTY

DECEMBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

The OAL Co-MVP & All-Bay Area 1st Team defensive back led McClymonds to back-to-back state titles scoring 3 touchdowns in the state championship game!

ANTONIO FAAETEETE

2017 FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The OAL Co-MVP and All-Metro 1st Team running back scored more touchdowns (31) than any player in Oakland and rushed for a school record 440 yards in a single playoff game. Antonio also broke Marshawn Lynch’s OAL single-season rushing record with 2,626 yards in 11 games. At linebacker he also recorded 87 tackles & 9 sacks all while maintaining a 3.4 GPA!

JADA HOLLAND

2018 GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The WACC Player of the Year averaged 15.7 points, 5.3 assists, 4.5 steals, 3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. In the sectional title game she led her team to a 4th quarter comeback scoring 16 of her team-high 24 points in the final period capturing the Dragons’ first sectional championship since 2013.

ELIJAH HARDY

2018 BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Elijah averaged 14.5 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds a game. He led the Dragons to a NCS Divison II championship with a 21-point triple double and helped his team advance to the NorCal Open Division finals. The two-time WACC Player of the Year was also an All-Bay Area & All-Metro 1st Team selection!
