Ivan Rabb

IVAN RABB
Ivan spent the entire 2014-15 season racking up awards for his play on the court. Among other things he ended his senior year as the All-East Bay Player of the Year, a McDonald’s All-American and Mr. Basketball California Player of the Year. He became the first Mr. Basketball from the East Bay since Jason Kidd in 1992.
The 6’11” forward averaged more than 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks a game and led the Bishop O’Dowd Dragons to their first state championship in over 30 years. Rabb sunk the game winning point at the free throw line, with 0.8 seconds left in overtime, to lift his team to a 65-64 win over Mater Dei to capture the State Championship.
Consistently rated as one of the top 5 high school basketball players in the country, Ivan had plenty of colleges to choose from. He chose to stay local and signed with CAL Berkeley.
