NICO HOERNER
Stanford bound Nico Hoerner began the season selected to the Louisville Slugger Pre-Season High School All-American baseball team. The selection is chosen by the staff of the newspaper Collegiate Baseball. Nico, who plays shortstop and pitches, was placed in the multi-position group and was a first team selection. He is one of only five players in all of Northern California to be selected to the First Team.
The Stanford-bound Hoerner ended his senior season batting .517 with six homeruns, 30 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He was MVP of the BCL-East League for the second year in a row and was an All-East Bay 1st Team selection. The Jayhawks won three NCS Division V titles in Nico’s four years.
