NOVEMBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Siale Liku was an All-OAL 1st Team & All-Bay Area 2nd Team defensive tackle that helped the Wildcats return to the Silver Bowl for the first time in five years in 2018. After receiving over 10 scholarship offers, Siale signed with the UCLA Bruins.

JARMAR JULIEN

DECEMBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

In 2018 Jarmar Julien was an All-OAL 1st Team & All-Bay Area 3rd Team running back. He helped lead McClymonds to a third straight state title rushing for 180 yards (w/a 75-yard touchdown run) in the state championship game!

AUSTIN JONES

2018 FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The league MVP and All-State 1st Team running back rushed for 2,005 yards and 24 touchdowns. Austin was ranked #6 in the nation among running backs in 2018. The Stanford bound senior finished the season as the all-time leader in school career rushing yards for the Dragons.

MAE ALEXANDER

2019 GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Mae was voted O.A.L. MVP and selected to the All-Bay Area 2nd Team. The MVP center helped lead the lady Wildcats on a 19-game winning streak and capture Oakland High’s first-ever state girls basketball title!

WILL CHAVARIN

2019 BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The Cal Poly Pomona bound star averaged 12 points & 5 rebounds a game and led the Dragons to the NorCal Div. I semifinals in 2019. Will was voted league Co-MVP of the WACC and ended the season as an All-Bay, All-Metro & All-State Div. II 2nd team selection!
